Furai - High End Desktop  (Early 2009)

Furai was built in early 2009. It was meant as a capable gaming machine as well as a media storage hub. This computer features twin Western Digital Raptors in RAID 0 for excellent responsiveness, as well as twin Caviar Black storage drives to house a large collection of media. The Radeon HD 4870 video card has a reasonable amount of muscle to play games at high resolution. The case is an Antec 900 Mid Tower, which was selected for excellent cooling for a very hot environment while fitting within reasonable size constraints.

Obsidian - High End HTPC  (Late 2009)

Obsidian is one of my favorite projects to date. It is a Home Theater PC that wields enough power to perform reasonably as a gaming machine. This computer features a Phenom II Triple Core Processor that has enough muscle to get the job done, but is also very cost effective. The Video and Audio is outputted via HDMI using a Radeon HD 5750. Not only does this card do a beautiful job rendering video for a media center computer, it also has enough muscle to power video games on a 1080p television. This HTPC also features twin Caviar Green storage drives for cool and quiet operation. Additionally, this PC is powered with a Rosewill Green Series power supply, to keep noise to a minimum. A Hauppague Dual Tuner Card allows the user to hook up an HD Antenna or other source to allow this HTPC to record two shows at once. All of the media is neatly accessed using a modified version of Windows Media Center. All of this is housed in a beautiful Silverstone HTPC case, which makes this computer a brilliant addition to any living room.

Raider - Large Capacity Data Server  (Early 2009)

Raider was designed to store a large amount of important files, as well as feature data redundancy to ensure that a hard drive failure would not result in catastrophic data loss. This computer features five 1TB hard drives in a RAID 5 and RAID 1 configuration.

Zephyr - High End Desktop  (Early 2010 Refresh)

My personal computer Zephyr is a constant work in progress. Improving upon it is a hobby of mine. I use this computer for HD gaming and audio/video entertainment. I multitask seamlessly with three 24-inch 1080p HD monitors. The ATI Radeon HD 5970 is the most powerful video card on the planet. Using its Eyefinity capability, I can game across three monitors at an amazing 5760x1080 resolution with an unsurpassed level of immersion. A resolution that high might make gameplay sluggish for most video cards, but the Radeon HD 5970 has enough power to keep games running smoothly even at that high of a resolution. Twin Solid State Drives make for an extremely responsive computer, as well as faster loading times and quicker installations. Three Caviar Black Terabyte storage drives give me enough space to store all manner of HD video content, as well as have the speed and responsiveness to handle simultaneous read/write operations without missing a beat. All of this hardware is housed neatly in an Antec 1200 Full Tower Case, which has unsurpassed airflow to cool my video card, hard drives, and highly overclocked processor.
